Garden City Cannabis Co. is officially opening the doors to our new location at 229 St. Paul Street in Downtown St. Catharines, and we’re celebrating with a full day of giveaways, live entertainment, demonstrations, and special events.
On Saturday, August 22, join us in the heart of downtown St. Catharines for the Garden City Cannabis Co. Grand Opening Celebration.
We’ve packed the day with plenty to see and do, including a live broadcast with 97.7 HTZ-FM, a ribbon cutting with Mayor Mat Siscoe, a live glass blowing demonstration, giveaways, custom-painted rolling trays and more.

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
We’re kicking off the grand opening with some familiar Niagara airwaves.
Joey Bricks and 97.7 HTZ-FM will be broadcasting live from our new 229 St. Paul Street location from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Join us for the Garden City Cannabis Co. ribbon cutting ceremony with St. Catharines Mayor Mat Siscoe as we officially celebrate the opening of our newest location in Downtown St. Catharines.
We’re excited to become part of the businesses calling St. Paul Street home and to celebrate the occasion right here in the downtown community.
The ribbon cutting takes place at 12:00 PM at 229 St. Paul Street.

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
One of the biggest attractions of the afternoon will be happening right outside the usual retail routine.
Benwa Glass will be joining us for a free live glass blowing demonstration from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
Come watch the process unfold in real time and see how handcrafted glass pieces are created from start to finish.
Whether you’ve seen glass blowing before or have only ever wondered how it works, this is your chance to watch the craft up close during our Downtown St. Catharines grand opening.
It wouldn’t be much of a grand opening without something grand to give away.
Guests will have opportunities to enter our Grand Opening Giveaways, including a television valued at more than $600 as the grand prize.
