Motif Labs Ltd. has informed us of a Type 1 Recall for the product mentioned above due to a hazard caused by overheating batteries during the charging process.

What to do

Immediately stop using the product and contact the retailer to return or exchange the product.

Hazard identified

There have been 4 reports of the Batteries overheating when charging which has resulted in damage to the Batteries and, in some cases, property in the immediate vicinity.

Number sold

Approximately 30,700 of the Batteries were sold in Canada in retail cannabis stores and online by licensed distributors in Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from November 2021 to September 2022.

Consumers should immediately stop using this product. Consumers can return the product to the retailer where the product was purchased or dispose of the product. Opened product should be disposed of safely and out of the reach of children and young persons.
