The second annual Niagara Canna Cares food drive is all wrapped up and we're excited to announce the results.
THANK YOU to everyone who was generous enough to bring in non-perishable food items throughout December, and THANK YOU to all participating dispensaries 😊

Although cannabis stores have been legal and present in most cities in Ontario for about 5 years now, a lot of people haven't been inside one.
As a horticultural hotspot in Canada, cannabis culture has always existed in Niagara. Our goal isn't to hide the shady corners of the city. As Niagara's locally owned and operated retail stores, we want our region to know that we're thankful to be here… and we care.
We are not corporate entities infiltrating every corner of the country. We are Niagara owned and operated by contributing citizens of our community. Encouraging a fun but responsible cannabis culture in our hometown.

That's why we're especially happy to have an opportunity to spread our message in the media.

Can you believe it? Together we managed to collect 14 barrels of food donations for Feed Niagara

Where do these donations go? They are distributed to the food bank system within the shop's community. In St. Catharines and Thorold donations go to Community Care. In Welland, donations go to The Hope Center. In Fort Erie donations go to The Salvation Army and in Niagara Falls, donations go to Project Share. This way each store's donations will be distributed more directly to the city that the store is in. More than anything else, we want our efforts to have a meaningful impact on our community. This is a better path to accomplishing that.3

Every year we like to reward the dispensary that collects the most donations.

Last year, TAKE OFF CANNABIS in Thorold took home the GRAND CHAMPIONS crown and we're not surprised to see that they're keeping that crown in 2022.
With 3.5 barrels of food donation, Amber and the team at TAKEOFF have done an amazing job, again! Congrats 😊
