Niagara Canna Cares | Local Shops Coming Together for the Community

December 5, 2023

Niagara Canna Cares | Food Drive

Our Third Annual Food Drive #NiagaraCannaCares is a friendly competition between Niagara dispensaries. Each dispensary is set up with a donation bin and whichever shop can raise the most food is crowned the undisputed champ!

It's no mystery why our competing businesses have decided to come together. Our community needs help.
We're working with FEED NIAGARA to ensure donations are distributed to the right place.

Donations in St. Catharines are being distributed to COMMUNITY CARE
Donations in Welland are being distributed to THE HOPE CENTRE
Donations in Fort Erie are being distributed to THE SALVATION ARMY
Donations in Niagara Falls are being distributed to PROJECT SHARE

Niagara Canna Cares is a Niagara-wide Food Drive

Last year Niagara Canna Cares managed to raise a collective 14 barrels of food donations!

Come on! I mean, if that's not an indication of how generous Niagara's cannabis community is, I don't know what is.

Check out the awesome shops that are on-board for this year's food drive!

Garden City Cannabis Co (St. Catharines / Welland / Fort Erie)

Local Cannabis Shops Come Together for the Community

If you can spare it, please help us make a difference this season!
Let's show Niagara how much the Cannabis Community can rally together and do something outstanding for the people who need it most.

(From Last Years Drive)

"Although cannabis stores have been legal and present in most cities in Ontario for about 5 years now, a lot of people haven't been inside one.
As a horticultural hotspot in Canada, cannabis culture has always existed in Niagara. Our goal isn't to hide the shady corners of the city. As Niagara's locally owned and operated retail stores, we want our region to know that we're thankful to be here… and we care.
We are not corporate entities infiltrating every corner of the country. We are Niagara owned and operated by contributing citizens of our community. Encouraging a fun but responsible cannabis culture in our hometown.

That's why we're especially happy to have an opportunity to spread our message in the media.
